Cavorting around Punggol Park & Coney Island

To be honest, I would rather there by no hype around this Punggol area, so there would be no big crowds of people coming this way as they had when Coney Island was first opened to public on 11 October 2015. Nevertheless the hype seemed to have died down since … i think haha. And there are really interesting things that one could see around Punggol Park & Coney Island. And it is very much related to nature and wildlife here … so where there are crowds, chances are there would be nothing much to see. So I picked a […]

Sungei Buloh, Singapore’s Wetland Reserve

For nature-lovers, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Singapore offers the beauty and wonders of the wetlands with an extensive mangrove forest,  awarded a certificate by the Wetlands International, marking the reserve’s entry into the East Asian Australasian Shorebird Site Network. Just a warning foreword before coming, while dressing light for the weather is appropriate, do come prepared with mosquito repellents. I suppose the female mosquitoes here lack proper food sources and we humans lightly dressed is just what they need …hahaha! 😀 The biodiversity here is rich, and really natural unlike a zoo. While the views are unique by the day (though hot haha…), it is […]

A Garden like No Others ~ Gardens By the Bay – Cloud Dome [Part 1]

Yes, there are many gardens in the world. Gardens with nice themes, beautiful flowers, historic relevance even nice accompanying weather. But there would be nothing like this in the world that can only be found on the little red dot on the map, called Singapore. Singapore … a humid and hot country all year round, maybe wet sometimes but still humid all the same. Small country, but nevertheless, after the visit to Gardens by the Bay, I am almost certain that the beautiful sights in this garden will keep you going and going and going … and until you feel […]

One of the best optical illusions from Korea is also here in Singapore … Yay! Tis is located at Suntec City Mall, Level 3. And this is also my maiden attempt to share more about what’s good and where to go when coming to Singapore 😉 It just won’t do to blog about nice things about other countries when Singapore too has nice scenery and entertainment …hahah! ALIVE museum actually look small from the entrance … well … I believe the area used is not too large either, but do not judge the value from just the exterior look, afterall, […]
